Messiah University

I received my B.S. in Engineering from Messiah University with concentrations in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering. Receiving an engineering degree from a small, competitive college allowed me to gain hands-on experience conducting research and working in the shop beginning in my sophomore year. For my last three years at Messiah, I worked in the Collaboratory on the Prosthetic Knee Project, designing a low-cost prosthetic knee for a village in western Africa. I completed my degree at Messiah with a 4.0 GPA, with honors, and as a President’s Scholarship recipient.
